  • The PetFindr Smart Tag is the physical device that links to the Apple Find My Network, or Google Fing Hub Network for Android. This device provides an easy, secure way to narrow the search of locating your pet.

  • 3V CR2032 batteries are coin shaped and can be found in the battery section of supermarkets, hardwarde retailers, electonics retailers, and online.

  • Simply follow the steps as outlined in the included manual booklet found in the packaging.

  • 1. Tape terminals with non-conductive tape

    2. Store in a non-conductive/fire-safe container i.e. a glass jar

    3. Drop off at B‑cycle, supermarkets, hardware or council recycling bins.

    The correctly disposed of batteries are cost free, recycled and enables the materials to be recovered.

    NEVER toss them in the household rubbish. Button cells are hazardous. They contain lithium and toxic metals that can leak into soil and water or spark fires in collection trucks and landfills.

  • Simply use the included opening tool included in the packaging to insert in the release opening. A small flathead screwdriver will also work.

    Rotate the opening tool gently 90 degrees. Use your fingernails at the small gap on the side of your shell to carefully open the case.

    Replace the battery with a new 3 Volt CR2032 battery. Ensure the +ve pole is at the top with the inscribed text in the correct position to read as normal, then carefully push both edges back together.

  • Press the function button 2 times, you will hear a single short beep.

    The press the function button 4 times rapidly and then hold it a 5th time until you hear a ring-ring chime.

  • 6 - 12 months depending on usage. For example, using the 'Play Sound' feature daily would reduce battery life.

  • Ensure you have updated your compatible Apple or Android device to the most recent software upgrade. You may need to perform a factory reset (outlined above), otherwise feel free to contact us through our store chat or email.
