According to RSPCA's stats from 2024, 2842 dogs and 5148 cats were euthanised.

RSPCA do an incredible job trying to find these pets homes, but I think you would agree that those figures are truly heartbreaking.  That's why we decided we need to do something about it.

Over 44,000 dogs and cats were surrendered to RSCPA last year, with only 28% of dogs and 6% of cats being reclaimed by their owners.  This is where we feel PetFindr can really make a difference, with many of these pets being reconnected with their owners directly through the community.
