2. Information Collected via the PetFindr Smart Tag

When a finder scans a PetFindr tag, they may choose to:

  • Share their location: If the finder consents, their approximate location is collected and sent to the pet owner.
  • Not share their location: If the finder declines, only the fact that the tag was scanned will be recorded.
  • Access owner contact details: The finder will be shown the pet’s profile, including owner contact information.
